ASKING FOR A COURT CONTINUANCE
Continuances for Bench Trials are granted by the arresting officer only. You must contact your officer prior to court by calling the Police Department at (864) 624-2000 to learn when your officer is next on duty. The court cannot continue a case scheduled for Bench Trial.
Continuances for Jury Trial can only be granted by the Clerk of Court or City Attorney. You may contact the Clerk of Court directly by dialing (864) 653-2042.
